The instructor is a licensed Urasenke instructor and can answer any questions in English.This is the only place where you can experience a formal tea ceremony on a chair, rather than sitting on tatami mats.
Not only enjoying making Match but you also learn about the history of the ceremonny in Japan.

What to expect

This is the most popular tea ceremony experience among tourists. It lasts for 45 minutes. You can learn about the history of tea ceremony and actually make matcha yourself.You can experience this while sitting on a chair, so it is not painful. The explanation will be given by an experienced English-speaking instructor, so you can understand everything about the tea ceremony. Please enjoy Japanese sweets with your matcha. 6 sessions a day. First session starts from 10:30 and last one starts from 16:00, so you can make a reservation based on your schedule.
