Tokyo, Japan

1 hour 30 minutes (approximately)
Offered in: Japanese and 1 more

Experience a full Japanese tea ceremony — not just a matcha-making class.

This experience features a rare “two-bowl” style tea gathering.
Guests first enjoy a bowl of ceremony-grade matcha prepared by an experienced Japanese tea ceremony host,
then prepare their own matcha using a full set of authentic tea ceremony utensils.

This style of experience — watching, tasting, and preparing matcha in one session —
is rare even in Japan and seldom offered in standard tourist activities.

Held in a calm Asakusa setting, the ceremony is conducted in comfortable table-style seating
(no kneeling required), making it suitable for beginners, families, and guests of all ages.

Kimono wearing (optional, free of charge) and seasonal Japanese wagashi are included,
with clear English guidance throughout for a relaxed and authentic cultural experience.
