You will be met by your driver at Menara Airport in Marrakech and taken to your Inn in Marrakech. Overnight in the hotel. If you have already arrived in Marrakech a few days before, we will pick you up at your Inn and start the tour.
After Breakfast in your Riad, we will cross the Atlas Mountains through the Tizi N Tichka Pass, stopping to take pictures of the Berber villages (you can walk in some villages to see the Berber villages). Then we will visit the 17th century kasbah in the city of Telouet.
We will take the direction of Ouarzazate where we will visit the UNESCO-protected kasbah of Ait bin Haddou and the Taourirt kasbah, one of the most beautiful kasbahs in the region. Then we will go to Skoura, a city that overlooks several charming kasbahs, especially the 18th century kasbah of Ameridhil, then we will go to Kalaat Mgouna - to visit the charming valley of roses.
We will continue to the Dades valley where you will see many Berber villages and the unique rock formation "monkey toes" as well as many nomadic landscapes. and the incredible Dades Gorge and its crazy road (Tissdrine) where you will watch the sunset.
Today will be the epic day of this 9-day desert tour. After Breakfast at the Riad we will go to Todgha Gorge where you will have free time to enjoy the panoramic views of the Berber villages overlooking the valley and walk under the 300m high cliff, where many climbers come to practice their best sport. Then your journey continues to Merzouga (where camel rides await you) via tinjdad (at lunchtime), Erfoud and er-rissani, while enjoying the magnificent scenery of the Sahara Oasis.
Arriving in Merzouga in the afternoon, you will be greeted with a glass of mint tea. Then you will take a camel ride through the dunes of the Sahara Desert of Merzouga to reach the camp where you will spend the night. Your luggage will be transported by car to the campsite. You also have the option to drive to the campsite instead of riding a camel, if you prefer.
After Breakfast we will leave via Rissani, where you will stop to visit the local Souk (Point of Sale). Then we will continue through the vast Ziz Valley which contains millions of palm trees to Errachidia. We cross the Ziz Gorge, then the Middle Atlas Mountains with their magnificent views.
We stop in Midelt for lunch.
After lunch, we will head to Fez through the Azrou cedar forest, the largest in Morocco, stopping to take pictures with Barbary monkeys. Then you will continue to visit Ifrane, nicknamed the "little Switzerland of Morocco" because of the European shape of its buildings; you will arrive in Fes in the afternoon. Riad installation.
After Breakfast in your Riad, you will start exploring Morocco’s oldest city, walking through its alleys and small streets. Our tour begins with the door of the Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco, built in the 14th century. We will ensure that you visit all sites of cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the world, the tanneries and the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. After lunch, you will visit the tile cooperative and enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the entire medina of Fes. Overnight in the same Riad.
Check-out early after Breakfast towards Meknes, from where you have a magnificent view of the Medina. The tour begins with a tour of the ramparts with monumental gates dating from the 17th century: Bab Berdaine, Bab Khemis. We continue the discovery of the city by the stables (Rua), the attics (HERI), and the Stud. Stop necessary at the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail which was for a long time the only mosque that non-Muslims could visit in Morocco. We then exit through the famous Bab Mansour El on the vast Hedim Square. We will continue to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, we will spend some time exploring the 2000-year-old ruins and getting a sense of life under the Roman Empire.
We will head to the Blue City and spend the night in Chefchaouen.
After breakfast you can walk freely through the Blue City until 12:30. We will then pass through the city of Tetouan with its houses on the hills, and through the Rif mountains with its green trees, night in Tangier.
After breakfast, the day is devoted to the visit of the city of Tangier. You will take a 4x4 tour and a walking tour. You will visit Cape Spartel, the impressive Palace of the Sultan, the Necropolis, the caves of Hercules, you will have free time to visit Asilah, its streets full of colors and aromas, and buy a souvenir.
Then we will take you to Rabat, then we will visit the Kasbah of the Oudayas, erected by a terrible tribe of predators in the 12th century. Then we will visit Hassan Tower 2, where 4 façades are decorated differently from each other, three in pink tones and one in grey because of the sea breeze, the remains of the ancient mosque and the mausoleum of Mohamed 5 next to the tower
We'll reach Casablanca by late afternoon, dinner and overnight at the Inn.
In the morning, you will start your journey by visiting Casablanca’s largest mosque, Hassan 2 Mosque, then you will leave Casablanca towards Essaouira.
On this day you will have the opportunity to explore the coastal wind of Essaouira which attracts many windsurfers between April and November. The city is also known for its fortified medina, art galleries and shops. You can also observe the fishing nets and traditional boats built in the very atmospheric harbour. The city also has a vibrant cultural mix, accommodation in Essaouira.
After Breakfast, we continue our trip to Morocco leaving the coast to go to the red city of Marrakech, against the backdrop of the High Atlas Mountains, and along the way we will make several stops to take pictures.
Once in Marrakech, you can start exploring Marrakech, "the red city of Morocco". We will make sure you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Tower, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace. After lunch in a restaurant near the square, you will stroll through the souks and see hundreds of handicrafts.
