We start with pick-up from your hotel or the bus terminal in Uyuni and head to the Train Cemetery, where you can find old locomotives from the 19th century. Then we visit Colchani, a small town known for its salt crafts. We enter the Salar de Uyuni, where we see piles of salt in the shape of pyramids, the “eyes of salt,” and the Salt Museum with buildings made entirely of salt. We continue to Incahuasi Island, where we take a 30-minute walk among giant cacti with a panoramic view of the salt flats. Then we visit the Dakar Monument, an ideal place to take pictures. There we enjoyed a local lunch. In the afternoon, we explored the area of the water mirrors where the sunset is reflected, creating a unique effect between sky and earth. We ended the day with a transfer to the hostel to spend the night.
