Meet your guide at the Scandic Ishavshotel in Tromsø and begin your journey to a reindeer camp. Enjoy a 45 minutes scenic drive out of the city, admire the views and get ready for an unforgettable experience. Upon arrival at the camp, change into thermal suits or winter boots to ensure you’re properly dressed for the outdoor activities. Then, enter the reindeer enclosure and feed the animals with buckets of reindeer lichen. Have your photo taken with the reindeer to capture the moment. Next, gather around the fire in the main lavvu for a Sámi cultural experience. Listen to stories about Sámi culture and hear a traditional joik performance. Sip on hot coffee and hot chocolate as you relax by the fire.
