Leave Tromsø with your experienced local guide for an approximately two-hour drive through the Troms region, away from the city lights. We plan the route using the latest weather forecasts and cloud cover, adjusting it as conditions change. Along the way, your guide explains the evening’s plan and shares local knowledge about the region and the Northern Lights.

Gather around an open fire to grill sausages and enjoy hot drinks and snacks while we wait for the Northern Lights. Take a break, warm up by the flames and enjoy the Arctic night. Your guide continues to watch the sky and monitor conditions throughout the stop.

Spend time at a viewing spot selected for the evening’s weather and sky conditions. Watch for the Northern Lights and take your own photographs of the Arctic night. Your guide explains what to look for and follows any changes in the sky, adapting the viewing location if needed. Northern Lights sightings depend on natural conditions and cannot be guaranteed.

After the evening’s search, return to Tromsø with your guide. Allow approximately two hours for the journey back, depending on the route and conditions. The tour ends at the original meeting point on Fredrik Langes gate. The itinerary and time spent at each stop are approximate and may change according to the weather and Northern Lights conditions.
