At REEL1, We provide a guided fishing shuttle. We'll outfit you in fishing gear and take you to and from our favorite fishing spot, we supply a spin rod, boot-foot waders and lures so you can "REEL" in a big "1". You can expect to spend ~2 hours on the shore with great chances to catch a 5 species of wild pacific salmon or dolly varden. Book now to REEL1 with us.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Our meeting point is at 490 Franklin St, Juneau AK 99801. This is by Goldbelt Tram on the side walk under the cables. Meet 15 minutes prior to your departure time. Look for a white sign in blue letters that read, "REEL1". This is a central location near where all cruise ships port.
What to expect
Since we're in a temperate rainforest, the weather can shift fast. We suggest wearing boots, a raincoat, and layers you can adjust. The terrain can be a bit rugged so guests must be able to comfortably at least 1 mile to enjoy this tour as the tide effects the distance to the shore.
**We cannot purchase a state fishing license or a king salmon stamp for you, but, they are required. Please purchase both (just $30 for all ages guests 16+) on the Alaska Department of Fish and Game website prior to your tour time.
** Fish activity can vary. We cannot guarantee that every guest will catch a fish, but we can guarantee a fun, authentic Alaskan fishing experience, beautiful scenery, and the chance to learn local fishing techniques from our experienced guide.
