If you're an avid fisher like we are, you don't need a guide to catch a fish in Alaska's abundant waters. We'll take you right to where the fish are jumping to REEL1 all by yourself. This shuttle makes it inexpensive, easy and quick to get some fishing in while you're in Juneau. We offer the ride, the fishing pole, and tackle. The first lure is included after that extra lures are available for purchase. Jump on the shuttle while your wife shops, get in a quick catch before dinner and enjoy the great outdoors here in Juneau!
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Our meeting point is at 490 Franklin St, Juneau AK 99801. This is by Goldbelt Tram on the side walk under the cables. Meet 15 minutes prior to your departure time. Look for a white sign in blue letters that read, "REEL1". This is a central location near where all cruise ships port.
What to expect
This isn’t a guided fishing experience—it’s your adventure to create. We provide the transportation, and got you covered with basic fishing gear- a rod, and a lure (extra lures can be purchased). Plus, there's a communal bucket on-site with handy tools like pliers, a fillet knife, and fish bags to make things easy. The rest is up to you. There’s something truly special about experiencing the joy of fishing firsthand, and we’re here to help you do just that.
Since we're in a temperate rainforest, the weather can shift fast, sunny one moment, raining the next. We suggest wearing boots, a raincoat, and layers you can adjust. The terrain can be a bit rugged, so come ready for the elements and adventure!
**We cannot purchase a state fishing license for you, but, they are required. Please purchase an Alaskan Fishing license (Just $15) on the Alaska Department of Fish and Game website prior to your tour time.
