The preserve in El Rosario is the largest in the world with the most stable numbers of butterflies during the season between November through March. The experience is hiking through the woods from altitude of 2900 mts to 3300 mts, so please don't book if you have a medical condition that affects your ability to hike like bad knees or high blood pressure.
