    When you arrive at Kochi Airport, our representative will meet you and we will then drive to Munnar, the green Paradise of Kerala with unending extends of Tea ranches, estates and an assortment of greenery and fauna. On the way, you can see Cheeyapara and Valara waterfalls.

    Cascading down rocky slopes, Cheeyappara is a magnificent seven-tier waterfall with water descending from a height of 1000 feet. It is a unique experience to stand close to the water, near the bottom of the waterfalls and watch the cascading water. You can take a dip in the pool of water formed below or enjoy the spray of cool water. In the mornings, sometimes you can see a beautiful rainbow on the spray of water.

    The nearby Valara Waterfalls complements Cheeyappara with its own lush greenery and is a lovely picnic location. The view is spectacular in the monsoon and post-monsoon seasons when the falling cascade makes the air around it misty.     Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica

    The church, which is more than 500 years old, has an eventful past going back to the arrival of the Portuguese in 1500. As a token of gratitude for the help they rendered in defeating the Zamorins of Calicut, the erstwhile king of Cochin gave the Portuguese permission to set up a fort. Later, in 1505, permission was granted to the first Portuguese viceroy, Dom Franciso de Almeida, to build the church. In 1558, Pope Paul IV raised the church to the status of a cathedral.
