Baní Dunes: The Desert by the Sea Our first dive is to the Dunes of Calderas Natural Monument. We will walk through mountains of fine sand that rise to 35 meters, surrounded by a unique endemic flora. It’s the perfect time to connect with the silence of the desert and capture photographs that look like they’ve been taken from a Saharan dream.

The Salt Mines: A Landscape of Mirages We will visit the iconic Baní Salt Flats. Here, the earth turns into white crystals and the lagoons are tinged with pink tones depending on sunlight. You will learn about artisanal salt extraction, a tradition that has shaped the identity of this town for centuries.
