Mini Gayageum Making
Create your own 40cm miniature gayageum and take home a unique Korean musical souvenir.
Located in Bukchon near Gyeongbokgung Palace. The experience is conducted in English, with subtitle support in Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean.

Meeting and pickup
Located near Anguk Station Exit 1. We’re on the 3rd floor of a white building (A&B) next to CU and 인생네컷. From Bukchon, walk down toward Samcheong-dong. Look for the video screen at the entrance.
What to expect
Step into the world of Korean traditional music in Seoul. At Beautiful Gayageum, you’ll have the rare opportunity to play the gayageum, Korea’s iconic traditional string instrument, while wearing beautiful Hanbok in an elegant hanok-style setting in Bukchon.
Signature Gayageum & Hanbok Experience (80 min)
No musical experience is needed. With easy-to-follow sheet music and personal guidance from a professional gayageum instructor, even complete beginners can learn to play a Korean melody.
Choose your Hanbok, learn the basics of the gayageum, and experience the joy of making Korean music yourself. After playing, capture the moment with photos and videos in Hanbok with the gayageum — a unique memory of your time in Seoul.
Mini Gayageum Making Experience (50 min)
Prefer to create something of your own? Assemble a 40cm miniature gayageum using quality parts and take it home as a special Korean musical souvenir.
Hanbok is not included in the Mini Gayageum Making Experience.
Located in Bukchon near Gyeongbokgung Palace, Beautiful Gayageum offers a peaceful, small-group cultural experience for solo travelers, couples, friends, and families.
