We'll meet in the 'Parque de merendas do Lajido' in Lajido.
We will visit this charming coastal village where many historic witnesses from the island’s golden age of winemaking can be discovered. You'll learn also more about the traditional architecture.
We'll visit the Wine Museum. It exhibits wineries, barrels and other objects related to the traditional wine making. In the garden of the museum we will see dragon trees, they are survivors from the dinosaur age you can only observe in Macaronesia.
We'll take a stroll through the UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you'll gain a deeper appreciation for the challenges and triumphs of producing Pico’s exceptional wines. Here, you’ll enjoy the best views of Pico's unique winemaking landscape.
