Experience the most iconic sights of Buenos Aires on a half-day tour. You will be driven around the main neighborhoods to see the attractions through several stops in a private air-conditioned vehicle and you will also walk between some of the sights. This is the perfect way to get an overview of the city upon arrival.     El Ateneo Grand Splendid

    The bookstore Ateneo Grand Splendid is one of the most beautiful in the world because of its sheer splendor. It's housed in a former theater, built in 1919. with soaring ceilings, ornate balconies and a big dome painted by the Italian artist Nazareno Orlandi. Transformed into a bookstore in 2000. Travelers will come inside to appreciate this living piece of Buenos Aires´ cultural history.

    Travelers will apreciate Av. Alvear, the most upscale and elegant thoroughfare in Buenos Aires. It is renowned for its sophisticated charm and historical significance. It was inspired by Parisian urgan planning and it reflects the ambitious vision of its founder, who sought to emulate the grand boulevards of Europe. Along it´s length travelers will find and impressive collection of belle epoque mansions and demi-palaces, many of with have benn repurposed as embassies, luxury hotels or cultural landmarks. It´s a place were history, architecture and glamour converge. Also in Recoleta neightbourhood we will pass by car in front of the Recoleta Cementery, Pilar Church, Law University, Arroyo Street, and the Floralis Generica.

    We will stop at the Obelisk, an iconic monument that stands as a symbol of the city, a meeting place for all Argentine celebrations. It was erected in 1936 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the city's founding. We will walk 2 minutes along Av. 9 de Julio, the widest avenue in the world, to see the front of the majestic Teatro Colón, one of the most well renowned opera houses in the world because of its magnificent acoustics and architecture.

    Caminito

    Upon arrival in La Boca, travelers will walk down Caminito, a vibrant and iconic street, famous for its colorful houses. They will see street performers dancing tango, artisans selling handmade goods, and cafes scattered across the cobblestones. Then we will pass by the legendary Bombonera, the home stadium of Boca Juniors, the club with the most fans in Argentina and known around the world.

    We will stop at Plaza de Mayo, the city's historic square since 1580, in the heart of Buenos Aires. Travelers will appreciate the important monuments surrounding the square, such as the Casa Rosada (the presidential palace), the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Cabildo (a colonial-era government building). We will drive along the iconic Av. de Mayo, flanked by ornate architecture that mixes styles such as Beaux Arts, Art Nouveau, and Neoclassical, passing the iconic Café Tortoni (the city's first café) and the eccentric Palacio Barolo until we reach the National Congress.
