  Golden Whip Brook

  BaiLong Elevator

  It is the world’s tallest outdoor elevator, rising 335 meters (1,099 feet) up a cliff face.   Option 2: World Natural Heritage Site — Baofeng Lake: Known as a "classic among the world’s lakes," Baofeng Lake is located at the heart of the Wulingyuan Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie. With a depth of 72 meters (236 feet) and a length of 2.5 kilometers (1.55 miles), it is renowned for its serene waters, picturesque mountain reflections, and mysterious caves, making it a prime example of Wulingyuan’s water scenery. The famous TV series Journey to the West filmed its Flower and Fruit Mountain Waterfall scene here at the "Flying Waterfall of Strange Peaks." While cruising on the lake, you can also admire unique sights on the central island, such as “Fairy Looking into the Mirror,” “High Gorge and Flat Lake,” and “Golden Toad Holding the Moon.”

  Yellow Dragon Cave
