  Golden Whip Brook

  Stroll along the breathtaking Golden Whip Stream Canyon, known as one of the top ten scenic wonders of Zhangjiajie. Flowing west to east through the National Forest Park, the stream is flanked by dramatic cliffs and lush forests, creating a serene and picturesque landscape. Playful wildlife, ancient and exotic trees, and leisurely swimming fish add to the peaceful ambiance. Golden Whip Stream is famed for its poetic saying: “three steps, one view; ten steps, one peak,” with over 3,000 unique peaks and 800 winding streams. Get off at Shuiraosimen Station and walk toward the stream, often praised as one of the most beautiful canyons in the world. Enjoy the fresh air and crystal-clear water as you explore 1.5 to 2 kilometers along the stream before heading back.

  It is the world’s tallest outdoor elevator, rising 335 meters (1,099 feet) up a cliff face.
