The most exquisitely planned garden with abundant trees that is open to the public is the "Forest Glade" garden. The garden covers an area of 14.5 acres (approximately 145000 square meters) and is the largest private garden in Australia. This garden has been planned and built by the Newton family since 1941, making it the most beautiful garden. This nearly century old private garden covers an area of 14 acres and is divided into four parts: an English garden, a Japanese garden, a forest, and a fern valley. There are various exquisite European sculptures scattered throughout the park, and the landscape layout is exquisite and delicate.

This place is famous for John Lindsay's novel and is also the location for the film adaptation of the novel, Picnic at Hanging Rock. You can see the unique volcanic rock landform here. It is also easy to see wild koalas, kangaroos, and various bird species. There is a coffee shop here where you can enjoy lunch (at your own expense). After lunch, you can take a walk by the lake or hike to the summit in just 40 minutes, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the mountains.
