From 25th November to 29th December 2025 (afternoons only) embark on a private day trip to Colmar with a local guide and experience the magic of the town’s famous Christmas Market.
Stroll through festive medieval streets, see landmarks like the colorful Little Venice district, and enjoy tastings from local producers, including traditional hot wine.
Outside the Christmas Market season, your flexible tour includes Colmar’s highlights such as the Unterlinden Museum, followed by a wine tasting of Alsace wines like Riesling and Gewürztraminer at a local winery.

Your guide will either pick you up from your selected area 30 min before tour time, or we will meet you at the designated meeting point at Basel SBB train station.

We will meet at Basel SBB train station and next will enjoy a 40 minutes train ride until beautiful Colmar
While in Colmar, we will accompany you throughout the visit, sharing the rich history of the town and its remarkable architecture. As we stroll through the picturesque old town for approximately 2.5 hours, you’ll discover beautifully preserved half-timbered houses, charming canals, and cobblestone streets that give Colmar its unique Alsatian character.
You’ll have about 1.5 hours of free time to enjoy a delicious Alsatian meal at one of the local restaurants and perhaps do a bit of shopping or simply soak up the atmosphere at your own pace.
Next, we will visit a local organic (bio) wine producer for a tasting of authentic Alsatian wines. This experience will last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, giving you the opportunity to learn about the region’s unique grape varieties and winemaking traditions, all while sampling a carefully selected range of wines in a warm and welcoming setting.
