you can visit the interior of the Cathedral of Monreale, famous all over the world for its mosaics. The most important of all is the mosaic of Christ Pantocrator which, with the light coming from outside, creates a breathtaking visual effect.
We will climb Monte Pellegrino, a scenic road that leads to the sanctuary of Santa Rosalia, the patron saint of Palermo. Along the way there is the possibility to stop to take pictures of the breathtaking view of Palermo and the gulf. At the top we find the sanctuary, a cave dedicated to the saint.
Once in Mondello you can take long walks along the seafront. There are many bars, ice cream parlors and souvenir shops. This beach is very famous for its crystal clear water with shallow water suitable for children. There is also the possibility to rent umbrellas and sun loungers.
