Danbi Bridge • 360 m elevated causeway linking south & north shrines. • Rises northbound → emperor "walks from Earth up to Heaven". • 3 lanes: center = gods, east = emperor, west = officials. 3. Imperial Vault of Heaven & Echo Wall • Small round hall storing spirit tablets. • Echo Wall: whisper at one end → heard at the opposite side (sound-wave reflection). • Triple-Sound Stones: clap → 1 / 2 / 3 echoes. 4. Circular Mound Altar • White-marble 3-tier altar; emperor's Winter Solstice heaven sacrifice. • All numbers = 9 or ×9 (9 = ultimate yang / Heaven) 5.
