The Kelpies is an impressive equestrian statue designed by Scottish sculpture Andy Scott. Explore the iconic art installation and capture photos of these beautiful statues.
Visit Medieval Stirling Castle, pertched at the 'top of the rock' in Stirling, Scotland's historic Capital city. The Castle was the historic home of Scotland's Royal Family including Mary, Queen of Scots. It was also a military stronghold and was the focal point of the Scottish Wars of Independence in the 14th century. Your tour guide will give you a full guided tour of the castle including most of the historic buildings, courtyards, gardens and ramparts. The views from the castle across the Carse of Stirling are as impressive as the castle itself.
The Trossachs is a beautiful lakeland area of hills and lochs, historically known as the "Highlands in Miniature." It's characterised by its stunning woodlands, picturesque lakes like Loch Katrine, and is now part of the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. It inspired Sir Walter Scott's famous poem, The Lady of the Lake. We will drive through this beautiful area and make a number of stops to take in the views and quaint villages along the way.
Within Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park we will stop here to take in the views over the 'bonnie banks' of Loch Lomond. See the largest freshwater Loch in the Uk by surface area and have lunch at a quaint Local pub (vegetarian & vegan options available).
On our way back to Edinburgh we will call at South Queensferry, a charming historic former royal burgh on the Firth of Forth. It's renowned for offering an unrivalled, sweeping triple view of the Forth's famous bridges: the iconic red Forth Bridge (rail), the Forth Road Bridge (road), and the modern Queensferry Crossing. In winter the view is at dusk, adding to the allure of this iconic view.
