What to expect

You will enjoy an authentic experience focused on the fascinating world of stingless bees from the rainforest through a tour of our garden to visit different stingless bee hives, where you will learn about their history, evolution, biology, the importance of honey in human nutrition and medicine, myths, rituals, beliefs, the relationship between honey consumption and the Blue Zone of Nicoya, Costa Rica, and the importance of bees for the sustainability of ecosystems and the planet's food security. You will taste different types of honey with varying color, smell, flavor, and density according to flowering and regions of Costa Rica, and at the end of the experience, you will enjoy a typical Costa Rican dinner cooked over a wood fire.
