What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We’ll meet at the iconic Los Kioskos in Luquillo at either 8:00am or 12:30pm, depending on which time slot you book. We will meet up in front of the last restaurant on the strip, a black and white building called La Parilla. I recommend arriving a few minutes early so we can head out on time. I’ll send you a quick heads-up when I’m on the way so you’ll know what vehicle to look for! Need a different pickup time or location? No problem—just reach out ahead of time. I'm happy to arrange alternate pickup options in or around Luquillo if Los Kioskos doesn't work for you. We’ll spend a few hours exploring the rainforest, with a planned return around 11:30 AM to noon for morning tours and around 3:30 - 4:00pm for afternoon tours.

1El Yunque National Forest
As we make our way up the winding roads of El Yunque, the rainforest comes alive around us. Along the way, you’ll catch glimpses of colorful birds, towering bamboo groves, and panoramic views that stretch all the way to the coast on clear days. Throughout the drive, we’ll share stories — from ancient Taíno legends to the history of El Yunque as a sacred and protected place. You’ll learn to spot native plants like the giant ferns and the yagrumo tree, and maybe even see a Puerto Rican parrot if we’re lucky. This is more than a drive — it’s a journey into the heart of the island’s living heritage.

2Las Pailas

3Angelito Trail

4Cataratas Juan Diego

6Torre Yokahu
