Experience Japanese culture on this walking tour led by a local host. Visit two of Osaka’s most historic sites—Shitennoji Temple and Osaka Castle—while enjoying commentary via a multilingual audio guide.
The guide, created by locals, is available in English, French, Spanish, German, Dutch, and Japanese, and can be streamed on your smartphone using free WiFi. At each stop, your host gives a short introduction in simple English, after which you can explore deeper insights in your chosen language.
At Shitennoji Temple, enter the Central Complex to experience its sacred layout up close, including views of the pagoda and main hall. The tour also includes prime photo spots—some known mainly to locals—as well as classic viewpoints of the Main Tower of Osaka Castle.

A Japanese host will be waiting in front of the entrance of the ticket office, holding a blue binder and a signboard with the tour name "NECOwtour."
It will be finished infront of the Tanimachi 4 chome station of the Tanimachi line.

Enter the Central Complex and experience one of Japan’s oldest temple spaces from inside. Walk close to the Five-Story Pagoda and the Golden Hall while learning about traditional Buddhist temple layouts.
