Explore the Hungarian countryside and discover the Danube Bend — one of Hungary’s most scenic and historic regions.

We’ll visit Szentendre, a charming riverside town known for its artistic atmosphere, cobblestone streets, and small local craft shops.

We continue to Visegrád Castle, a historic fortress now partly in ruins. Built to guard the Danube route towards Buda, it later became a royal residence and offers panoramic views over the Danube Bend.

We will also visit Esztergom Basilica, the largest church in Hungary and one of the country’s most symbolic and sacred places, connected to the coronation of Hungary’s first king.

The drive is following the river Danube through the countryside, and in summer there’s also an option to cool off with a swim in the Danube.

If you’d like, you may also have some company during the day — Ami, our friendly Bearded Collie, sometimes joins the trip
