Taking a tour of the Forbidden City with our English-speaking tour guide will be the most rewarding travel activity during your stay in Beijing. Our experienced tour guide will spend 3 to 4 hours exploring every remarkable building and those interesting but less noticed corners of the Forbidden City. They will also explain clearly China's history and culture to you, including the construction history and historical background of the Forbidden City, as well as the stories of the 24 emperors who lived there during the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Before the end of the tour, your guide will give you the information to anywhere you want or give you a suggestion for a great place to visit,such as JingShan Park located behind the Forbidden city. Or the way to the Tiananmen square.

The tour package includes admission tickets. (However, if you book the tour less than 7 days in advance during peak season, you may need to wait in line to get tickets with your passport on the day of the tour.)

    Forbidden City-The Palace Museum

    We will explain clearly China's history and culture to you, including the construction and historical background of the Forbidden City, as well as the stories of the 24 emperors who lived there during the Ming and Qing dynasties. There are stories about the life of Puyi, the last emperor of China. The story of Reginald Fleming Johnston, a Scot who lived in the Forbidden City, and the story of how the Forbidden City was opened to the public and transformed into the Palace Museum after the fall of the Qing Dynasty. As the Palace Museum celebrates its centenary from its establishment in 1925 to 2025, we hope to have the opportunity to show you the charm of the Palace Museum in Beijing.

  • Jingshan Park (Pass by)

    Before the end of the tour, your guide will give you the information to visit JingShan Park by yourself which is located behind the Forbidden city. From there, you can climb to the top of the hill to see the panoramic views of the entire Forbidden City and the old urban area of Beijing.
