Your Lauterbrunnen Adventure begins in Lauterbrunnen village. Here you will meet your Private Guide and walk along the valley which inspired Tolkien to create Rivendell many years ago.
Enjoy the waterfalls and sheer cliffs, pass by our famous church and the Staubbachfall - Europes highest! - and then experience the mighty Trummelbachfalls, where 20,000 litres of water thunder through the mountain each and every second.
Take a cablecar up the mountain to the unspoilt Alpine villages of Gimmelwald and Mürren, where time stands still. Here, from the historic village streets, you will enjoy panoramic views of 'the Swiss Skyline' - the snow-capped peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
From here you will take the panoramic mountain train and cablecar back down to Lauterbrunnen village.
Opposite Bergbahn Mürren and outside the Lauterbrunnen Train Station, look out for your Lauterbrunnen Adventure Guide - in yellow.
Visit the beautiful (and famous!) Lauterbrunnen church, perched by the river with the Staubbach waterfall in the background.
Walk up to the bottom of the Staubbach Waterfall - Europe's highest freefalling waterfall - and experience the power of nature from below.
Walk along the beautiful Lauterbrunnen valley, taking in the sheer cliffs and the 72 waterfalls in this incredible glacial valley.
The glacial melt from the might glacier above has been thundering through the rock here for thousands of years, carving out impressive chutes and caves inside the mountain. Take the lift inside the mountain to explore this Unesco World Heritage site (Jungfrau-Aletsch)
Our favourite waterfall, the Mürrenbach; beautiful at all times of year.
Take the cablecar to Gimmelwald, an unspolilt swiss Alpine village; grab a coffee on the terrace and enjoy the views, accompanied only by the sound of cowbells in the meadows.
Walk or take the cablecar to Mürren, perched atop a cliff with panoramic views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau snow-capped peaks.
Find our favourite viewpoints along the way, including the famous Tree Stump!
Traverse the clifftop by train or on foot, and pass by Winteregg alpine restaurant on the way to Grutschalp.
Continue to Grütschalp, where you'll board the Bergbahn-Mürren cablecar back to Lauterbrunnen.
