Embark on an unforgettable Moroccan adventure! Explore vibrant Marrakech, iconic Casablanca, and the stunning Atlas Mountains. The highlight? A magical night under desert stars. Perfect for young travellers seeking adventure, chill vibes, and new horizons.
The flight to Marrakech airport is mostly uneventful. The airport is spacious, modern and has high ceilings. On arrival, you go through immigration in a large hall that tends to be well organised. Although there are sometimes long queues, your passport is usually stamped within 15 minutes. After immigration control, you'll arrive at the baggage claim hall, where you'll find an ATM, currency exchange. I recommend withdrawing or exchanging money directly at the airport so that you have enough cash immediately for taxis or other necessities. After collecting your luggage, you will go through customs where your luggage will be scanned. You will then enter the spacious and quiet arrivals hall. In Marrakesh, most places are within walking distance. However, if you need to use transport, download the Careem app to avoid haggling with drivers.
Bacha Coffee is a place you simply must not miss when visiting Marrakech! This iconic café will immediately immerse you in the unique atmosphere of Morocco. Treat yourself to an exceptional cup of coffee or fragrant tea, accompanied by a delicious dessert - the perfect way to start your visit once you arrive at your destination. And if you want to take a piece of the experience home, you'll find a shop selling premium coffee beans and ground coffee right next to the café. An ideal stop for all lovers of quality coffee!
A short walk from Bacha Coffee you will find beautiful mosaics - perfect for a short walk and some great photos.
Jemaa el-Fnaa Square is an absolute treat! You'll find everything from produce stalls to snake shows. We recommend enjoying tea or a refreshing drink on the Gran Terrasse Du Glacier terrace, where you can watch the action from above. Arrive around 4pm and secure a spot by the railings for the best view. However, when strolling through the market, be wary of the so-called "henna ladies" who can quickly decorate your hand without your consent and then ask for money - an unpleasant experience best avoided.
At the end of the day you can enjoy dinner just a short walk from the accommodation. Beautiful decorations and a delicious menu await you, the perfect end to a day full of experiences!
The Kutubiyya Mosque is definitely worth a visit! Walk around this iconic symbol of Marrakech and admire its impressive architecture and unique atmosphere.
The Bahia Palace is definitely worth a visit! You will be captivated by the beautiful gardens and fascinating architecture. We toured it without a guide, but expect more visitors, so taking photos can be a bit of a challenge. Still, it's an experience not to be missed!
After visiting the Bahia Palace, you can relax on the terrace of the Kosy Bar. Have a local beer or enjoy a shisha and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere with a view.
A wildly popular market where you can find everything from traditional clothing, food to accessories. Definitely worth a visit.
Tickets: Admission to most attractions can be purchased on site. However, we recommend buying tickets for the Jardin Majorelle online in advance as they tend to sell out on specific days. Official website: www.jardinmajorelle.com.
Your hotel can arrange a guided trip to the Atlas Mountains, specifically to the Ourika Valley. On our way, we visited typical tourist stops, such as buying argan oil, teas, or souvenirs. If you're not interested in shopping, just ask the driver to continue. Our guide then took us to picturesque waterfalls and for a short walk with breathtaking views – comfortable shoes are recommended! We ended the trip relaxing at a riverside restaurant in a local village.
On this day we said goodbye to our riad and the driver (arranged by your riad) took us directly to our accommodation at Agafay Desert Camp. We were greeted by an amazing setting overlooking the desert, perfect for a relaxing or memorable evening with your best friend. We enjoyed the evening program, the opportunity to go on ATV rides, relax by the pool and the beautiful sunrise photo spots. An absolutely unique experience

Casablanca – the vibrant gateway to Morocco. A modern metropolis with elegant architecture, bustling markets, and the iconic Hassan II Mosque rising above the ocean.
The Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca is one of the world’s largest, with a 210-meter minaret – the tallest on Earth – and stunning Moroccan craftsmanship built partly over the Atlantic Ocean.
After a week full of exploration, we enjoyed a well-deserved rest in a traditional hammam in the afternoon. We enjoyed a steam bath, a scrub, a relaxing massage and a Moroccan tea at the end. Perfect regeneration. https://hammamziani.com
The bus ride takes approximately 3 hours and costs around $8 USD, depending on availability and dates. The buses are clean, comfortable and suitable for longer journeys. Bus tickets can be purchased online in advance, which is convenient and saves you time. The bus stop is usually just a few minutes from the accommodation. I recommend arriving early and bringing a snack for the journey to make the ride even more enjoyable.
We recommend this amazing Moroccan restaurant. It is worth it both its beautiful interior and the selection of delicacies you can taste here. Whether you go for their beef or lamb, you won't go wrong. After a good meal, you can take a stroll to the nearby parks, relax for a while in the shade of the trees and continue on to other walks around the city.
I recommend booking a ride through the Careem app. The price per trip is around 90-100 MAD and it's a convenient and reliable way to get around.
