Our experience is one that combines learning and enjoying while we surf fish. We want to get you surf fishing with success, quickly - so we focus on casting out into the surf first!

Some areas of interest we will explore as you begin to master the mechanics are the surf's underwater terrain and ecosystem, best baits for condtions, and optimal tidal times.

We are there to help you every step of the way in casting, baiting, and landing your catch. Our goal is to make the experience fun, and to have you feeling confident about your future fishin' missions.

What's Included

Premium rods and reels, all necessary tackle, and bait.
Fishing rod holders
In North Carolina, anyone 16 years of age or older needs a Coastal Recreational Fishing License (CRFL) to fish in coastal waters, including surf fishing.

Pickup details:

Our SUV/truck will be loaded with everything we need to spend a couple of hours surf fishing. We will have room for 1 more cooler if you'd like to pack some refreshments - everything else is included.

What to expect

We're going to take the time to learn and review some of the fundamentals so that we can spend most of our time surf fishing.

Learn about tide conditions and times that are best
Discuss a few species of fish we're hoping to catch
Learn about the best rigging and bait
Most importantly - how to get a strong cast over the breakers
