Meeting and pickup
We meet directly at the parking lot of the visitor center "El Portillo", where there are also toilets.
What to expect
On a magnificent circular hike through the volcano El Cerrillar we were almost alone and experienced an authentic adventure in the midst of nature .
We are located in the El Portillo Visitor Centre , from where we start the approximately 8 km long route.
At the beginning, the trail leads us up to the highest point of the hike at over 2,350 meters. Once at the top, an impressive panorama opens up: the majestic Teide and the numerous volcanoes that form this extraordinary landscape.
During the tour, we also discovered fascinating volcanic formations that allowed us to better understand the origin and power of nature in this extraordinary environment.
