A highlight of this stop is visiting St Edward’s Church, famous for its beautiful north doorway framed by ancient yew trees. Bourton-on-the-Water is one of the most popular and picturesque villages in the Cotswolds, often referred to as the “Venice of the Cotswolds.” The village is built along the peaceful River Windrush, with a series of low stone bridges crossing the water and charming honey-colored cottages lining the banks. During this stop, travelers will have free time to stroll along the riverside paths, cross the small bridges, explore local shops, and enjoy lunch at one of the traditional cafés or pubs in the village. It’s a relaxing place to soak in the classic English countryside atmosphere and take beautiful photos of the iconic Cotswolds scenery.
