What to expect
El Yeso Reservoir is internationally recognized as one of the iconic landscapes of Maipo Cajon, a mountain and nature sector very close to Santiago, the capital of Chile.
Now imagine knowing this incredible scenery from an exclusive view that few people have access to, as our hiking expedition in a private sector framed by the reservoir and the Mesón Alto glacier.
After the transfer from Santiago, we arrive at Casa Bosque, an iconic tourist attraction in the area that charms with its wooden and iron structure, and after an initial talk, we will begin a vehicle journey of about an hour to our starting point of the trail, which begins with a steep climb of 20 minutes and then enjoy an unforgettable landscape on a plateau with little inclination.
Our destination is the Valle el Yeso viewpoint, 3,000 meters high. Here we will enjoy our gourmet box lunch with an unrivalled view of the reservoir and the Andes Mountains, and then begin the return.
