Continue to Port Elliot, where you can take a panoramic photo from the Obelisk lookout. Enjoy soaking in the stunning views. Climb over the rocks at Boomer beach with the chance of seeing a seal playing in the waves.

Drive on to Victor Harbor, where you’ll have 2 hours to explore at your own pace. Take a self-guided walk or horse-drawn carriage ride to Granite Island, or enjoy some local shopping and eat lunch at one of the many local eateries. Soak in the coastal vibes on this Victor Harbor tour.

This 7.7-metre-high cream-coloured obelisk, constructed in 1852, once served as a navigational aid for ships entering the harbour, with a blue flag raised to indicate safe passage . From the lookout, enjoy panoramic views over Horseshoe Bay, Boomer Beach, and the surrounding coastline. The area is also renowned for whale watching, particularly during the winter months when southern right whales and their calves are often visible from the shore.
