Your guide will introduce you to its folklore, its very long history and its present day culture. She will show you the many eating places, pubs and visitor attractions you can take in on your way around the town.
Meet outside the entrance to the House of Mannanan Museum. The Guide will be carrying a Manx Flag. If taking the bus ask for the stop by the House of Mannanan and when you get off just walk around the corner of the building past the cafe and you will see me there.

Take a walk through the historic streets of Peel to the beautiful Cathedral Isle of Man. The ancient Cathedral on St Patrick's Isle fell into ruins over the centuries since its consecration in the 13th Century. Consecrated as the Island's Cathedral in 1980 this former parish church has undergone a major transformation with the creation of an extraordinary series of gardens depicting this many facets of the history of Christianity in the Island. The gardens also pass comment on world events and the Isle of Man's place in them. Inside we will see the beautiful works of the great Manx artist John Miller Nicholson and admire the incredible sculptures of Ongky Wijana.
The guide will show you the medieval castle and talk through its ancient origins as a Christian monastery, Viking stronghold and medieval seat of the Lords of Mann.
