Taste a selection of 5 Vinho Verde wines, including wines made from the region’s emblematic Alvarinho and Loureiro grapes, accompanied by a selection of regional cheeses, smoked meats, bread and traditional Portuguese flavours. Your guide will introduce you to the history, terroir and grape varieties of the Green Wine region, explaining the differences between the wines as you taste them. This is a relaxed and authentic way to discover Portuguese wine and local food in Viana do Castelo — perfect for couples, friends and small groups.

Meeting and pickup
The guide will be waiting for you inside the Garrafeira Viana, just head to the service desk with the ticket. The experience will take place in the interior of Garrafeira Viana, at Rua Manuel Espregueira no 232, 4900-318 Viana do Castelo and the travellers will receive the experience at the same place.
What to expect
In proof we will have:
2 wines from Casta Alvarinho, without internship and with internship in barrels of Madeira.
2 wines from Casta Loureiro, without internship and with internship in Madeira barrels.
1 Red Green Wine or other Green Wine at the choice of the Group.
The tables are made up of cheeses and smoked meats from the region, dried or fresh fruits, compote, toast and traditional bread and water.
For travellers under 18 years old, no alcoholic beverages are served, mixed boards, water and juice are served. (We have garden, games and books available so you can spend your time more pleasantly.
Notes:
- Alcoholic beverages will not be served to people under the age of 18, who have mental problems or signs of alcoholism (according to Portuguese legislation). These travellers will receive water and juices.
- We offer discounts on the price of the test depending on the number of participants.
