Viña Santa Rita sits in the heart of the Maipo Valley, at the foot of the Andes, just 45 minutes from Santiago. It is one of Chile's most iconic wineries, founded over 130 years ago. The estate is a declared National Historic Monument. Few wineries in South America carry this much history.

What to expect

Step into the cellars where Chile's history was made. Just 45 minutes from Santiago in the Maipo Valley, Santa Rita is one of the country's oldest and most storied wineries — home to the legendary Bodega de los 120 Patriotas, where 120 of O'Higgins' soldiers once took refuge. In an intimate small group, walk the "cal y canto" cellars and stroll the breathtaking centennial park, with its neo-gothic chapel and 19th-century Roman baths. Follow the journey from vineyard to bottle, then settle in for a guided tasting of Santa Rita's finest Ultra Premium wines, paired with fine cheeses and charcuterie. You'll leave with an engraved glass and a true taste of Chile's wine heritage, far from the crowds.
