The Temple of Heaven, located in Beijing, China, was where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped Heaven and prayed for good harvests. It is a masterpiece of ancient Chinese architecture and philosophy, reflecting the concept of harmony between heaven and man. Key structures include the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, the Circular Mound Altar, and the Imperial Vault of Heaven. It was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998.

Qianmen Street and Dashilan are among Beijing’s most historic commercial districts, reflecting the charm of old Beijing. With their traditional architecture and time-honored shops, they offer a nostalgic glimpse into the city's past. These streets are also a haven for local snacks such as zhajiang noodles, glutinous rice rolls (lüdagun), fermented mung bean juice (douzhi), and candied hawthorn (tanghulu).
