This one hour hands-on culinary workshop is a fun, food-forward experience for adults, non-drinkers, and families with kids 6 and older. Youth and non-drinking adults can join with a non-alcoholic drink option, and younger kids can enjoy the playground and activity sheets while the group cooks. Come hungry because the class comes with a full meal.

This is not a polished cooking demo where you watch from a distance. You get involved, ask questions, make a little mess, and learn techniques you can actually repeat at home.

What to expect

Join us for a hands-on, one-hour culinary workshop at Cachasol Farm Distillery. You will make fresh guacamole en molcajete, cook on the comal, enjoy quesadillas with rice and beans, and sip a Cachasol cocktail while the farm does what it does best: slow everyone down. What you'll experience: Check in at the Comedor and settle in with an agua fresca while we introduce the workshop. Make fresh guacamole while learning simple techniques around texture, balance, lime, chile, salt, and the order of ingredients. Learn a little history behind avocado, corn, tortillas, and the role these foods play in Mexican culture. Then move to the comal and try your hand at cooking tortillas and quesadillas. Enjoy the food you prepared: guacamole, 2 quesadillas, rice, beans, salsas. And for adult guests, enjoy one Cachasol cocktail made with our award-winning tequila, named by Men's Journal as one of 2026's Best Small-Batch and Best Everyday Tequilas. This is a fun, hands-on experience for adults, kids, and families.
