We will meet you at the reception center of your hotel, or at the meeting point you have chosen.
After breakfast, our journey continues through the stunningly beautiful landscape towards Ait Benhaddou. We will interrupt our six-hour journey in Talioune, right in the middle of the saffron country,
then continue to Tazenakht, the region around Tazenakht is known worldwide for its carpet weaving. We will have lunch with a Berber family. We will meet in a small group to learn more about the culture and way of life of the Berber family first hand.
In the afternoon, we will visit the clay settlement of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. It is one of the most beautiful fortifications in the country, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the setting for numerous historical films.
Our journey then continues to Ouarzazate. In the early evening, we will reach our accommodation near Ouarzazate.
Early in the morning we continue by bus along the road of the 1000 Kasbahs to the oasis town of Tinghirt. We walk for about 30 minutes to the steep rocky edges of the Todra Gorge. Another hour later we reach the town of El Khorbat and visit the Berber Museum.
After lunch we continue to Merzouga. Here we spend the night in the middle of the Sahara in permanent tents with beds for the sake of the experience. In the evening we can enjoy a camel ride through the breathtaking dune landscape of the Erg Chebbi and from the dunes we can enjoy the sunset together. Back in the tent, dinner and a campfire are waiting for us.
After breakfast we go by bus to Tiouat. On the way we stop after 45 minutes in the town of Rissani. We go on a discovery tour in the souks. The market is a meeting point for the locals who come from near and far to do their shopping.
We then continue through the stone desert to Agdz. Lunch break in Agdz
we continue on to the village of Tiouat, is its historic kasbah, which has been transformed into a hotel and tourist attraction. Perched atop a hill, the kasbah provides panoramic views of the village and its verdant surroundings.
Village walk, mule ride, tour of Taroudant: After breakfast we get to know the village of Tiout on a walk and meet the warm and down-to-earth people. After lunch we leave the village and drive to little Marrakesh (Taroudant). The city is beautifully surrounded by an eight-meter-high wall from the 16th century. We explore it and then stroll through the pretty medina with its lively souks. Towards the evening we reach the city of Agadir again.
