Fujikawaguchiko, at the foot of Mt. Fuji, is famous for stunning lake and mountain views. Visitors can enjoy seasonal scenery, from cherry blossoms to autumn colors. It’s also a great spot to relax in hot springs or explore local culture. For lunch, try a cozy lakeside restaurant serving fresh soba or the area’s specialty, Hoto noodles, while admiring Mt. Fuji’s breathtaking backdrop.
The Fujinomiya 5th Station is a popular starting point for climbing Mt. Fuji via the Fujinomiya Route. Located halfway up the mountain, it offers panoramic views, shops, and restaurants, making it a great spot for sightseeing, photos, and experiencing the alpine environment without climbing to the summit. Visiting 5th station is NOT GUARANTEED as it is sometimes closed due to weather conditions, and maintenance.
Oishi Park, on the north shore of Lake Kawaguchiko, offers one of the best panoramic views of Mt. Fuji across the lake. The park is famous for its seasonal flower displays, especially lavender in summer, creating a stunning photo spot.
