We pick up our travelers from Naya Buspark, Gongabu (Gangabu), Kathmandu. Our team will be waiting at the arrival area holding a placard with the name Frox Holidays for easy identification. If you have any difficulty finding us, please contact us on the provided number.
Morning: Your private Tata Sumo will pick you up from Kathmandu. Journey: Embark on a scenic 7-8hour drive towards the Langtang region. The route will take you through Galchhi, Trishuli Bazaar, Betrawati, and Dhunche. Arrival: You will reach Khanjim in the afternoon/evening. Note: This is a long travel day, so be prepared for a bumpy ride and enjoy the changing landscapes as you leave the city behind and enter the mountains.
Morning: After a hearty breakfast, your trek begins. Trekking: You will hike for approximately 5 to 6 hours. The trail generally follows the Langtang Khola river, passing through lush forests of rhododendron and bamboo.
Morning: Breakfast with mountain air and forest surroundings. Trekking: Continue ascending through pine and rhododendron forests, passing Ghodatabela (army check post). Views: First clear views of Langtang Lirung and surrounding peaks. Culture: Enter the Langtang Valley, home to Tamang communities. Note: This village was rebuilt after the 2015 earthquake—observe local resilience and culture.
Morning: Relaxed breakfast and a shorter walking day. Trekking: Gentle uphill walk-through yak pastures and wide valleys. Exploration: Visit the ancient Kyanjin Gompa monastery and local yak cheese factory. Duration: Approx. 3–4 hours. Arrival: Reach Kyanjin Gompa by midday. Note: Spend the afternoon acclimatizing and enjoying Himalayan views.
Early Morning: Start early for the hike to Kyanjin Ri Viewpoint. Hike: Steep but rewarding ascent offering panoramic views of Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, and surrounding glaciers. Elevation: Approx. 4,700+ meters at the viewpoint. Descent: Return to Kyanjin Gompa for lunch, then descend to Thangshyap. Duration: 6–7 hours total (hike + trek). Arrival: Reach Thangshyap by evening. Note: This is the most physically demanding day—walk slowly and follow your guide’s pace.
Morning: Breakfast and begin descent through familiar forest trails. Trekking: Mostly downhill with some short ascents; relaxing walk-through bamboo and pine forests. Duration: Approx. 5–6 hours. Arrival: Reach Sherpa Gaon, a peaceful settlement. Note: Easier walking day—enjoy the greenery and river sounds.
Morning: Early breakfast and short trek back to Khanjim/Syabrubesi Drive: Board your private vehicle for the return drive to Kathmandu. Duration: 7–8 hours drive. Arrival: Reach Kathmandu by evening. Note: Trek officially concludes—time to relax or celebrate your Himalayan journey.
