What to expect

Welcome to Moivaro Homestay, a Comfort Stay located in the east of Arusha. It offers a gentle introduction to Tanzanian life in a peaceful setting. Your host Aturebeca is a warm and open-minded college manager and teacher in tourism and hospitality. She lives here with her husband and children. Guests are invited to enjoy conversations about the cultural meaning of the Kanga fabric over a cup of chai. The homestay features beautifully decorated rooms and a lush garden with avocado, lime, mango, and banana plants. Fresh fruits can be picked and used in the kitchen. Chickens and rabbits bring a small-scale farm feel, and a picnic hut built during a school project shows the family’s engagement with education. Nearby, you can visit Lake Duluti, the Osilig Children Foundation, or take a walk through the welcoming neighborhood and experience everyday Tanzanian life.
