Discover 2 countries in 1 unforgettable day with a unique food and wine experience led by a professional chef. Beginning at 8:30 AM with pickup from your hotel, we’ll drive north toward Galicia, Spain, a beautiful wine region. At 10:00 AM, we'll enjoy a guided visit to one of the region’s most renowned wineries, where you’ll taste local. The Atlantic breeze shapes the character of the world-famous Albariño grapes. You will walk through ancient vineyards and explore a winery that blends tradition with modern excellence. The experience is framed by the majestic Minho River; as we cross this natural frontier, you’ll witness how the landscape and culture mirror each other across the border. It’s more than a tasting; it’s a deep dive into the history of a land where the river serves not as a wall but as a bridge between two rich winemaking heritages. You will enjoy an exclusive expert-led tasting, discovering the nuances that make these high-altitude coastal wines truly unique in the world.
Around 11:30 AM, we return to Portugal for your culinary experience, just 15-minute drive to your private family estate (Quinta) in Vilar de Mouros, a charming village known for hosting the oldest music festival in Europe, where you’ll be welcomed with a cocktail surrounded by a peaceful 5,000 m² property filled with trees. At 12:30 PM, your hands-on cooking class begins. Led by a chef trained at Le Cordon Bleu Paris, you’ll learn how to prepare 3 traditional Portuguese dishes, while discovering the stories and ingredients behind each recipe. This is a family-run experience recognized by travelers, with top reviews on Viator and TripAdvisor (Portugal at the Table). In the afternoon, take time to relax before heading back to Porto at 5:00 PM.
