We ride the Fløibanen Funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen for breathtaking views before continuing to the forest-framed Fantoft Stave Church, a striking wooden church built in medieval style. We take the funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen, where you can enjoy panoramic views over Bergen and the city fjord. At the summit, we explore forests, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, and might even meet the friendly Fløyen goats along the way. This stop offers a refreshing mix of nature, culture, and unforgettable scenery.
We head back down and make our way through Lille Øvregaten, Bergen’s oldest street. Lined with crooked wooden houses and full of charm.
We pass by Bergen Cathedral, a church with roots dating back to the 12th century. Its layered architecture reflects centuries of fires, rebuilds, and changing times.
We wander into Skostredet, a colorful and creative street known for its independent shops, murals, and cozy cafés. This lively alleyway shows a different, more playful side of Bergen.
We take the Bergen Light Rail out of the city center, enjoying a comfortable ride through local neighborhoods on our way to Fantoft Stave Church.
We walk through the peaceful forest to reach Fantoft Stave Church, its dark wooden silhouette rising dramatically from the hillside.
We take the light rail back to the city before walking to our last stop of the tour.
We end the tour at Dyvekes Vinkjeller, one of Bergen’s oldest bars. Here, guests are served a taste of history in a glass, in an atmospheric setting beneath the city streets
