One of Malaysia's most unique wildlife conservation centres and the only orangutan sanctuary in Peninsular Malaysia. Located in the middle of Bukit Merah Lake, this 15-acre island is home to endangered Bornean orangutans living in a protected, semi-wild environment dedicated to conservation, research, and education. Unlike a traditional zoo, the orangutans roam freely on the island while visitors observe them from a specially designed enclosed tunnel.
