Pick ups out of the province like Sosua, Cabarete, Santiago, you would have to pay an extra cost. We recommend that in addition to having your credit card, you always bring cash, since when you use your credit card for purchases additional fees are applied.

Be aware that this is a physically demanding journey, wear sneakers, water shoes or sandals with a back-strap, and use sunscreen, although the presence of mosquitoes is practically non-existent, it is recommended to use mosquito repellent.
