After an early breakfast, your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Arusha to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Though the journey is lengthy, the drive itself offers spectacular landscapes. You will ascend the Crater Highlands, stopping briefly at the viewpoint for a mesmerizing panoramic view of the Ngorongoro Crater an experience that will be etched in your memory, especially for first-time visitors. As you continue into the Serengeti, you’ll quickly understand why this vast expanse is called “endless plains” in the local language. The park is renowned for the Great Migration, home to over 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and an abundance of antelopes, such as impalas and Thomson’s gazelles. The Serengeti is also a haven for large predators, making it one of the best places in the world to witness lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas in action. Accommodation: Camping site
Start the day early with a morning game drive to catch the animals at their most active, followed by a breathtaking sunrise. After the drive, return to camp for a hearty brunch before heading to Ngorongoro Crater, the 8th Wonder of the World. The crater spans 102 sq miles and is surrounded by 2,000 ft high walls, creating a unique haven for East African wildlife. It's one of the few places in Africa where you can spot the rare black rhino. The crater is home to a variety of habitats, including a river, swamps, soda lake with flamingos, forests, and plains. It’s also famous for its large elephants with massive tusks, thanks to the nutrient-rich volcanic soil
Begin your day with an early descent into the crater for a memorable morning of wildlife viewing in one of Earth's most breathtaking locations. After a thrilling game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch near the picturesque Hippo Lake. Following lunch, take a short game drive before ascending the crater. Exit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and head back to Arusha, where you'll arrive by around 5:30 p.m.
