    Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your Arusha lodge, followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Tarangire is one of Africa’s hidden gems, known for its giant baobab trees, large elephant herds, and diverse wildlife. The park is named after the Tarangire River, the lifeline for animals during the dry season. After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, you'll head to a comfortable full-service campsite just outside the park for a delicious dinner and peaceful overnight rest.

The permanent water source on the crater floor attracts animals year-round, making each visit rewarding and unique.     Today, you will explore Lake Manyara National Park, located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park is known for its diverse ecosystems, including towering fig trees, acacia woodlands, mahogany forests, and open grassy floodplains. Lake Manyara’s soda lake attracts large flocks of flamingos and many other bird species, making it a top spot for birdwatching with over 400 species recorded. You may also spot the famous tree-climbing lions resting in acacia trees, a rare and unique sight. During your game drive, you’ll see a variety of animals such as elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, baboons, and possibly predators like leopards and cheetahs. The park’s varied landscape provides excellent opportunities for photography and wildlife viewing. After enjoying the park, you will return to Arusha in the late afternoon, concluding your safari with memories of the beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife at Lake Manyara.
