Your day begins at the world-renowned Craggy Range, where you'll take in the beauty of this architecturally stunning winery, nestled beneath the majestic Te Mata Peak. Discover their winemaking philosophy, enjoy a guided tasting of their exceptional wines, and take a behind-the-scenes look through the fermentation rooms and underground cellar.
From there, we ascend to the summit of Te Mata Peak, where panoramic views stretch across the Heretaunga Plains to the coastline—an unmissable highlight that captures the heart of Hawke’s Bay.
And if we haven’t spent too long soaking up the beauty of Craggy Range and Te Mata Peak, we’ll make our way to a second boutique winery for one more tasting experience—because in Hawke’s Bay, there’s always time for another great glass of wine.
Due to restrictions at Napier Port, we are not able to pick up at the port if the group is fewer than 6. If your booking is for 5 people or fewer, please take the free shuttle bus from the port and meet us at the National Aquarium.
The National Aquarium is located along Marine Parade in Napier. Your guide will be waiting for you by the van. The Van will be marked Mates Travel and will be parked at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure Cruise passengers, take the free shuttle bus from the port to the aquarium.
This tour ends at the Napier I-site, which is close to town for further exploration of Napier city. Cruise passenger, you will be able to take the free shuttle bus back to Napier Port from this location.
