Located just above Pokhara, this relatively new trekking route is perfect for those seeking a short yet rewarding Himalayan journey without the crowds of more famous trails.

The journey begins from Pokhara, driving through lush farmland and Gurung settlements until you reach Ghachowk, the trek’s starting point (1.5 hours drive). The hiking trail takes a gradual climb through terraced fields and dense forest leads to Hile Kharka, a peaceful overnight spot (5 hours of hike)

Ascend along forested trails and ridgelines until the landscape opens into expansive alpine meadows with Machhapuchhre dominating the skyline.

Enjoy sunrise and sunset over the Annapurna massif. Optional hike to Korchan (3,700 m) for 360° views. After exploring Khumaidada, descend through forest trails and Gurung hamlets before driving back to Pokhara.
