    Gangaramaya (Vihara) Buddhist Temple

    You will enter Colombo through the highway and drive passing popular areas such as Pachikawatta and the slave island to arrive at Gangaramaya Bhuddist temple in the heart of Colombo. You will go inside the temple and the guide will assit you to visit all interesting parts of the temple and explain the local culture and rituals while you visit the temple. It is a very convenient visit.

    Independence Memorial Hall

    You will drive to the Independence square through Colombo Municipal council building and Vihara Mahadevi Public park. Your guide will take you to the Independence Memorial Hall and explain the administrative and political structure of Sri Lanka relating to the history and present. It's a convenient visit, if the heat bothers you too much, you can enjoy looking at the building from your car and listening to the guide.

    You will drive through the elegant streets of Colombo passing Kollupitiya and Bamabalapitiya areas and arrive at the Galle face. You can visit the the Galle face hotel (1864) and Galle face green. You have the opportunity to closely monitor colonial architecture while making visiting the hotel museum. It's a very convenient visit.

    Passing the modern sky risers and the port city of Colombo you'll drive towards the heritage colonial building section in Colombo including the Colombo Clock tower and the center point building.

    Passing the Heritage section of Colombo, you'll park the car at the custom house car park (It'll be interesting to see how the car parks work in Colombo), you'll do a walk right into the bustling and colorful Pettah street market for a 20 minutes walk among locals.

    Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque

    At the end of the market walk, you'll find the amazing and gigantic, 7 story red mosque of Colombo markets. It's a photo magnet and even more interesting due to it's location right in the heart of the market.

    Colombo Lotus Tower

    Later on your way to exit Colombo, you'll stop at the Lotus Tower, the one and only in Colombo. You can buy a ticket and go to the 360 balcony to view the beauty of Colombo and the Indian Ocean beyond. You'll also have access to a modern cinematic studio where they play a short but very interesting movie about the history of Colombo.

    Temple Of Sri Kailawasanathan Swami Devasthanam Kovil

    this 18th Century Hindu Shrine stands facing the lotus tower. Hindu temples are known for their Colorful antrances with intricate statues of religious profiles (Gopuram). You can make photos of the shrine if you buy a small ticket.
